Convenient Space to Store Your Files and Memories
So, you have a lot of files, but your devices do not have enough storage. Moreover, taking your hard drive with you whenever you want to browse your pictures can be a pain. Luckily for you, there are cloud apps that offer large quantities of spaces that you can use to store files—and among those is Degoo. This software, created by a small Swedish developer, offers free cloud storage for your photos and other important files. It offers a convenient place where you can re-experience your memories whenever you want.
A Large Amount of Free Space
Degoo is still relatively new in the online backup industry, but it has already earned popularity, thanks to its generous storage space offering. The app gives 100GB of cloud space, and that’s only for its free service. You can get up to 500GB of space when you go Pro, and even a whopping 10TB of cloud space when you opt to pay the Ultimate subscription. What’s more, if you get to convince a friend to try their service, Degoo will give you additional storage as a referral bonus.
Getting started with the app is easy. In fact, you can create a free account within seconds, and without providing personal information. If you prefer, you can sign up using your existing Google account. Once you have your account set up, you can download the app on your device. Degoo is available on various platforms—except iOS devices—so you can easily access your files, whether you are using your computer or your mobile phone.
The app’s interface is pretty simple. It features tabs for the main functions, such as backup, recovery, and preferences. And speaking of backup, you can add folders to your backups just by clicking a button or dragging and dropping to the folder. With this, you can organize your backup files for better viewing. However, if you are using the free service, you need to access the account before the 90 days are up to keep your files uploaded. If you want your files stored for as long as you want, you need to pay the subscription fee. Users must also note that while Degoo lets you store files online, it does not support file versioning and file syncing like Dropbox and Google Drive. It also comes with limited file-sharing options.
Keeping Your Files Tightly Secured
Cloud storage provides a convenient and large space for you to store files. However, by doing so, you increase the chance for online snoopers to hack into your account and grab your files and data. For Degoo users, this won’t be a problem. Besides its generous storage, Degoo flaunts tight security for all the files you store online. The app uses the military-grade encryption, 256-bit AES encryption, to make sure that your files and important information are safe.
Degoo has got a secure bank vault that is technically impossible for anyone but you to access. In addition to the 256-bit AES encryption, the app employs zero-knowledge encryption, wherein your files are encrypted with a paraphrase known by only you. It also uses storage replication, a process that encodes your files into chunks and spreads them out to data centers in different countries.
In Conclusion
Degoo is out to give cloud storage giants a run for their money, and it sure can put up a fight. For one, it offers more free space. Its upload and download speeds are also impressive. And while other features are not available, like file versioning and syncing, the app offers more advantages than disadvantages. All in all, it is a good option for users who have a large number of files.

Can't download your files to your computer unless you do it 1 by 1... scammers!

They have discontinued their Mac and Windows clients due to too many bugs and poor upload/download performance. It's not longer available. They're purely website / web client driven now, which means there is no way to schedule automatic backups or file sync's. It's purely manually dragging a file/folder to their web client in your browser.
The worst part is they do not offer a way to download entire folders that have been backed up, just individual files. So if you've manually backed up a folder with lots of subfolders and thousands of files, you have to select each file individually and click on Download. They don't offer any kind of drag/drop capabilities or the ability to select multiple files and download them in a batch, or select a folder and download the folder. Just one file, at a time. This makes restoring a folder you accidentally deleted with thousands of files in it virtually useless unless you spend the next 2 days downloading each file individually. More

Degoo no longer offers a Mac/Windows client, their support said it was too slow/buggy so they discontinued it. It's no longer available. They're purely website driven now, their web client. So there's no way to schedule automatic backups, file syncs, etc. etc. it's purely manual to send files and folders to them.
The WORST part is they also do NOT offer a way to download entire folders with their files, you can only download one individual file at a time from their web client, you can't select a folder and Download,
only a single file. This makes restoring backups virtually useless / extremely tedious unless you're trying to restore a specific file. But if you've lost a hard drive or deleted a very important folder with thousands of files in it? You're screwed unless you spend the next 2 days downloading each file individually. More
